# Saint Joseph vs App Dei

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: App Dei at none against Saint Joseph's 1. App Dei also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs every 2 months). Saint Joseph's advantage is ratings volume (346 vs 3) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Saint Joseph sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. App Dei asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Saint Joseph against 5.0 for App Dei. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Saint Joseph has 346 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Saint Joseph ships an update every 2 months, App Dei every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
