# GPS Tracker vs Yallow Operator

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Yallow Operator at none against GPS Tracker's 2. Yallow Operator also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (14.5 vs 17.0). GPS Tracker's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 50%) and ratings volume (52 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GPS Tracker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Yallow Operator asks for nothing beyond the download.

Yallow Operator holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GPS Tracker has 52 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of GPS Tracker's written reviews are positive against 50% of Yallow Operator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GPS Tracker ships an update every 6 weeks, Yallow Operator every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
