# Novel Man vs SeaKey

The clearest difference is ads: SeaKey at none against Novel Man's shown. SeaKey also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Novel Man's advantage is ratings volume (343 vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 8 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SeaKey holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Novel Man has 343 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Novel Man ships an update every 3 months, SeaKey every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
