# Tap Speed Test vs Bold Attack

Tap Speed Test and Bold Attack both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 67% of Tap Speed Test's written reviews are positive against 19% of Bold Attack's. Bold Attack's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (447 vs 64). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tap Speed Test sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Bold Attack sells 15 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bold Attack holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bold Attack has 447 ratings behind it against 64, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Tap Speed Test's written reviews are positive against 19% of Bold Attack's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Tap Speed Test ships an update every 6 weeks, Bold Attack daily. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
