# Date and Time Widget vs Widget Kit

The clearest difference is rating: Widget Kit at 5.0 against Date and Time Widget's 3.3. Date and Time Widget's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (265 vs 2). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Date and Time Widget sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Widget Kit sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Widget Kit holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Date and Time Widget has 265 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
