# Digital Time vs PureClock

The clearest difference is ads: Digital Time at none against PureClock's shown. PureClock's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Digital Time sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and PureClock sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Digital Time ships an update every 3 months, PureClock fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 21, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
