# Digital Time vs SpellTime Widget

The clearest difference is update cadence: SpellTime Widget at every 2 days against Digital Time's every 3 months. Digital Time's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Digital Time sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and SpellTime Widget sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Digital Time ships an update every 3 months, SpellTime Widget every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on September 21, 2026 and September 11, 2026 respectively.
