# Digital Time vs Always On

The clearest difference is update cadence: Always On at every 2 weeks against Digital Time's every 3 months. Digital Time's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Digital Time sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Always On sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Digital Time ships an update every 3 months, Always On every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
