# Hypernotes by Zenkit vs Thinkdrop

The clearest difference is rating: Thinkdrop at 4.3 against Hypernotes by Zenkit's 3.7. Thinkdrop also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Hypernotes by Zenkit's advantage is review sentiment (66% vs 31%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.0). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hypernotes by Zenkit sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Thinkdrop sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Thinkdrop holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 34 and 35 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 66% of Hypernotes by Zenkit's written reviews are positive against 31% of Thinkdrop's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Hypernotes by Zenkit ships an update every 2 months, Thinkdrop every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
