# MathFriends vs Creta Class

MathFriends and Creta Class both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 99% of MathFriends's written reviews are positive against 64% of Creta Class's. Creta Class's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly) and ratings volume (92 vs 13). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MathFriends sells 17 one-off in-app purchases and Creta Class sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for MathFriends against 4.4 for Creta Class. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Creta Class has 92 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 99% of MathFriends's written reviews are positive against 64% of Creta Class's.

MathFriends ships an update monthly, Creta Class fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
