# Widget Custom HomeScreen vs AnyWidget

The clearest difference is monetization model: AnyWidget at free with in-app purchases against Widget Custom HomeScreen's subscription. AnyWidget also leads on rating (4.4 vs 4.1) and review sentiment (38% vs 26%). Widget Custom HomeScreen's advantage is ratings volume (2.8K vs 98) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Widget Custom HomeScreen sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and AnyWidget sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AnyWidget holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.1.
