# Liebherr SmartDevice vs Laurastar

Liebherr SmartDevice and Laurastar both sit at 1.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 21% of Liebherr SmartDevice's written reviews are positive against 0% of Laurastar's. Liebherr SmartDevice also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (44 vs 4). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Laurastar holds the better App Store score, 2.0 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Liebherr SmartDevice has 44 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 21% of Liebherr SmartDevice's written reviews are positive against 0% of Laurastar's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Liebherr SmartDevice ships an update fortnightly, Laurastar every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
