# AI Flash Cards Maker vs effectLang

The clearest difference is review sentiment: AI Flash Cards Maker at 54% against effectLang's 0%. AI Flash Cards Maker also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (85 vs 5). effectLang's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and rating (5.0 vs 4.5). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AI Flash Cards Maker sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and effectLang sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

effectLang holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AI Flash Cards Maker has 85 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of AI Flash Cards Maker's written reviews are positive against 0% of effectLang's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AI Flash Cards Maker ships an update fortnightly, effectLang every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
