# BITCADE vs Podcasts

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Podcasts at none against BITCADE's 9. Podcasts also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). BITCADE's advantage is ratings volume (14 vs 1). On price, update cadence, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BITCADE sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Podcasts asks for nothing beyond the download.

Podcasts holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BITCADE has 14 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

BITCADE ships an update monthly, Podcasts fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
