# Golf Dreams vs Benchmark Golf

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Golf Dreams at 62% against Benchmark Golf's 6%. Golf Dreams also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (30K vs 2.4K). Benchmark Golf's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 6 days). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and chart position there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Golf Dreams sells 21 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Benchmark Golf sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $15.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Golf Dreams holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Golf Dreams has 30K ratings behind it against 2.4K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 62% of Golf Dreams's written reviews are positive against 6% of Benchmark Golf's.

Golf Dreams ships an update every 6 days, Benchmark Golf every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
