# Midway MAX vs Pure eScooter

The clearest difference is rating: Pure eScooter at 3.0 against Midway MAX's 2.0. Midway MAX's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Pure eScooter holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of Midway MAX's written reviews are positive against 19% of Pure eScooter's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Midway MAX ships an update every 3 weeks, Pure eScooter every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
