# Proofn vs WeedBuds

The clearest difference is ratings volume: WeedBuds at 10 against Proofn's 1. WeedBuds also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Proofn against 4.9 for WeedBuds. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WeedBuds has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Proofn ships an update every 4 weeks, WeedBuds every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
