# Otter vs CRYPTEES

The clearest difference is price: CRYPTEES at Free against Otter's $1.99. CRYPTEES also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and iOS requirement (12.4 vs 16.6). Otter's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 9 days) and ratings volume (22 vs 1). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

CRYPTEES is free to download; Otter costs $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CRYPTEES holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Otter has 22 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Otter ships an update every 2 days, CRYPTEES every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
