# Play Connect vs Splitter

Splitter's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Splitter sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Play Connect asks for nothing beyond the download.

Play Connect ships an update every 2 months, Splitter every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 15, 2026 and August 27, 2026 respectively.
