# Simba Express vs Amel

The clearest difference is rating: Amel at 5.0 against Simba Express's 3.5. Simba Express's advantage is ratings volume (27 vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Amel holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Simba Express has 27 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Simba Express ships an update every 3 weeks, Amel every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
