# IONITY vs Ouest Charge

The clearest difference is ratings volume: IONITY at 148 against Ouest Charge's 2. Ouest Charge's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for IONITY against 4.5 for Ouest Charge. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IONITY has 148 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 44% of IONITY's written reviews are positive against 45% of Ouest Charge's.

IONITY ships an update fortnightly, Ouest Charge monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
