# Screen Recorder ‑ Record Video vs FacePiP

The clearest difference is ads: FacePiP at none against Screen Recorder ‑ Record Video's shown. FacePiP also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly).
