# Sunbit vs Avant

The clearest difference is rating: Avant at 4.8 against Sunbit's 4.0. Avant also leads on ratings volume (124K vs 371). Sunbit's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Avant holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Avant has 124K ratings behind it against 371, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 37% of Sunbit's written reviews are positive against 35% of Avant's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sunbit ships an update fortnightly, Avant every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 15, 2026.
