# Dance Lessons vs CheerLive

The clearest difference is rating: Dance Lessons at 4.5 against CheerLive's 2.6. Dance Lessons also leads on ratings volume (626 vs 10). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dance Lessons sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $11.49 per month and CheerLive sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dance Lessons holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dance Lessons has 626 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Dance Lessons's written reviews are positive against 63% of CheerLive's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Dance Lessons ships an update every 3 weeks, CheerLive monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
