# PARAFlixx vs Rise.TV

The clearest difference is review sentiment: PARAFlixx at 93% against Rise.TV's 50%. PARAFlixx also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.6) and ratings volume (78 vs 7). Rise.TV's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PARAFlixx sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Rise.TV sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PARAFlixx holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PARAFlixx has 78 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 93% of PARAFlixx's written reviews are positive against 50% of Rise.TV's.

PARAFlixx ships an update every 3 months, Rise.TV every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 16, 2026 and August 23, 2026 respectively.
