# Blon vs Mimelet

The clearest difference is update cadence: Blon at every 5 days against Mimelet's every 10 months. Blon also leads on rating (4.2 vs 3.9). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Blon sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Mimelet sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Blon holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 45 and 94 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of Blon's written reviews are positive against 79% of Mimelet's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Blon ships an update every 5 days, Mimelet every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
