# MileTracker Pro vs Trip Mileage Tracker

The clearest difference is monetization model: Trip Mileage Tracker at free with in-app purchases against MileTracker Pro's subscription. Trip Mileage Tracker also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). MileTracker Pro's advantage is ratings volume (242 vs 3) and chart position (#189 vs unranked). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MileTracker Pro sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month and Trip Mileage Tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for MileTracker Pro against 4.7 for Trip Mileage Tracker. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MileTracker Pro has 242 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 78% of MileTracker Pro's written reviews are positive against 67% of Trip Mileage Tracker's.

MileTracker Pro ships an update every 2 months, Trip Mileage Tracker weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
