The clearest difference is ads: Join FENIX at none against SkyCycle's shown. Join FENIX also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). SkyCycle's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 51 months) and ratings volume (53 vs 3). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
