# TopHap Explorer vs Ponix

The clearest difference is monetization model: Ponix at free against TopHap Explorer's free with in-app purchases. Ponix also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). TopHap Explorer's advantage is ratings volume (390 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Ponix holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TopHap Explorer has 390 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
