# Backgammon+ vs Dominoes

The clearest difference is rating: Dominoes at 4.7 against Backgammon+'s 4.3. On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Dominoes holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 12K and 5K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 41% of Backgammon+'s written reviews are positive against 40% of Dominoes's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
