# CYC MOTOR (BAC) vs Specialized

The clearest difference is rating: Specialized at 4.7 against CYC MOTOR (BAC)'s 2.4. Specialized also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (12K vs 9). CYC MOTOR (BAC)'s advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (9.3 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Specialized holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Specialized has 12K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 50% and 50% positive.
