# VPN Tracker vs StashCan

The clearest difference is rating: VPN Tracker at 4.3 against StashCan's 3.0. VPN Tracker also leads on ratings volume (25 vs 5). StashCan's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN Tracker sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. StashCan asks for nothing beyond the download.

VPN Tracker holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VPN Tracker has 25 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 0% and 0% positive.
