# VPN Tracker vs VPN Pumpkin

The clearest difference is rating: VPN Pumpkin at 5.0 against VPN Tracker's 4.3. VPN Pumpkin also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). VPN Tracker's advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (28 vs 5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN Tracker sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and VPN Pumpkin sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VPN Pumpkin holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VPN Tracker has 28 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

VPN Tracker ships an update every 5 weeks, VPN Pumpkin every 3 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
