# AirWidgets vs Widgets 27

The clearest difference is review sentiment: AirWidgets at 90% against Widgets 27's 41%. AirWidgets also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). Widgets 27's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (1.3K vs 21). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AirWidgets sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Widgets 27 sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Widgets 27 holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Widgets 27 has 1.3K ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 90% of AirWidgets's written reviews are positive against 41% of Widgets 27's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AirWidgets ships an update every 3 weeks, Widgets 27 every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
