# WedAssist vs Wedding Planner

The clearest difference is rating: Wedding Planner at 5.0 against WedAssist's 4.2. Wedding Planner also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks) and device support (3 vs 1). WedAssist's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (18 vs 2). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WedAssist sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Wedding Planner sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Wedding Planner holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WedAssist has 18 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

WedAssist ships an update every 6 weeks, Wedding Planner weekly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
