# STYLEWE vs AKIRA

The clearest difference is review sentiment: STYLEWE at 85% against AKIRA's 47%. STYLEWE also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). AKIRA's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.8 vs 4.3). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AKIRA holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AKIRA has 2K ratings behind it against 329, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of STYLEWE's written reviews are positive against 47% of AKIRA's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

STYLEWE ships an update every 3 weeks, AKIRA fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
