# GET Mobile ID vs SiteStream

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: SiteStream at none against GET Mobile ID's 1. SiteStream also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). GET Mobile ID's advantage is ratings volume (6.1K vs 4). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GET Mobile ID sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per year. SiteStream asks for nothing beyond the download.

SiteStream holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GET Mobile ID has 6.1K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

GET Mobile ID ships an update every 2 months, SiteStream every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
