# Nerdish vs Daily Philosophy

The clearest difference is update cadence: Nerdish at every 5 days against Daily Philosophy's every 3 weeks. Nerdish also leads on chart position (#86 vs unranked) and ratings volume (2.7K vs 340). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nerdish sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Daily Philosophy sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Nerdish against 4.8 for Daily Philosophy. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nerdish has 2.7K ratings behind it against 340, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 60% and 60% positive.

Nerdish ships an update every 5 days, Daily Philosophy every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
