# Nerdish vs Nerdy

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Nerdy at 100% against Nerdish's 60%. Nerdish's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.3) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 15 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nerdish sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Nerdy sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Nerdish holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nerdish has 2.7K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Nerdish's written reviews are positive against 100% of Nerdy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Nerdish ships an update every 5 days, Nerdy every 15 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
