# Nerdish vs MS SC

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Nerdish at 2.7K against MS SC's 1. Nerdish also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly) and chart position (#87 vs unranked). MS SC's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nerdish sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and MS SC sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MS SC holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nerdish has 2.7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Nerdish ships an update every 5 days, MS SC fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
