# Tube Browser Pro vs Private Browser

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Private Browser at 68% against Tube Browser Pro's 38%. Private Browser also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.2) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). Tube Browser Pro's advantage is ratings volume (4.4K vs 232) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tube Browser Pro sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per 7 days and Private Browser sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Private Browser holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tube Browser Pro has 4.4K ratings behind it against 232, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 38% of Tube Browser Pro's written reviews are positive against 68% of Private Browser's.

Tube Browser Pro ships an update every 3 weeks, Private Browser weekly. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
