# cinedubs vs HR OTT

The clearest difference is review sentiment: cinedubs at 83% against HR OTT's 19%. cinedubs also leads on rating (5.0 vs 1.5) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). HR OTT's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. cinedubs sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and HR OTT sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

cinedubs holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5 and 13 respectively. Written reviews point the same way: 83% of cinedubs's written reviews are positive against 19% of HR OTT's.

cinedubs ships an update every 6 weeks, HR OTT every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
