# Certificate Creator vs Poster Maker

The clearest difference is ads: Poster Maker at none against Certificate Creator's shown. Poster Maker also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.6) and ratings volume (121 vs 21). Certificate Creator's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 6 weeks) and review sentiment (75% vs 50%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Certificate Creator sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Poster Maker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Poster Maker holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Poster Maker has 121 ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Certificate Creator's written reviews are positive against 50% of Poster Maker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Certificate Creator ships an update every 2 days, Poster Maker every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 18, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
