# Scoir vs TeachTap

The clearest difference is review sentiment: TeachTap at 67% against Scoir's 24%. Scoir's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 18) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TeachTap sells 18 one-off in-app purchases. Scoir asks for nothing beyond the download.

Scoir holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scoir has 6.2K ratings behind it against 883, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 24% of Scoir's written reviews are positive against 67% of TeachTap's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Scoir ships an update weekly, TeachTap every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
