# Shared Note Widgets vs One Note Widget

The clearest difference is rating: One Note Widget at 4.3 against Shared Note Widgets's 1.0. One Note Widget also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (13 vs 1). Shared Note Widgets's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 25%) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.2). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

One Note Widget holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: One Note Widget has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Shared Note Widgets's written reviews are positive against 25% of One Note Widget's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Shared Note Widgets ships an update every 3 weeks, One Note Widget every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
