# iParkSimple vs MarcMap

The clearest difference is rating: MarcMap at 4.7 against iParkSimple's 3.8. MarcMap also leads on ratings volume (321 vs 13). iParkSimple's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and review sentiment (43% vs 29%). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MarcMap sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. iParkSimple asks for nothing beyond the download.

MarcMap holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MarcMap has 321 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of iParkSimple's written reviews are positive against 29% of MarcMap's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iParkSimple ships an update every 4 weeks, MarcMap every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
