# Data Drop vs Proja AI

The clearest difference is ads: Proja AI at none against Data Drop's shown. Proja AI also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). Data Drop's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 4 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Data Drop sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Proja AI sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Data Drop ships an update weekly, Proja AI every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
