# AP Statistics vs Homework Planner

The clearest difference is update cadence: Homework Planner at every 2 weeks against AP Statistics's every 9 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AP Statistics sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and Homework Planner sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AP Statistics ships an update every 9 months, Homework Planner every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
