# Class Planner (cloud) vs Homeschool Planner

The clearest difference is rating: Class Planner (cloud) at 4.6 against Homeschool Planner's 4.3. Homeschool Planner's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Class Planner (cloud) sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Homeschool Planner sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $59.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Class Planner (cloud) holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 53 and 22 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Class Planner (cloud)'s written reviews are positive against 78% of Homeschool Planner's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Class Planner (cloud) ships an update fortnightly, Homeschool Planner weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
