# MacroFactor vs PHYZIK

MacroFactor and PHYZIK both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of PHYZIK's written reviews are positive against 71% of MacroFactor's. PHYZIK also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). MacroFactor's advantage is ratings volume (24K vs 12) and chart position (#10 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MacroFactor sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and PHYZIK sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PHYZIK holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MacroFactor has 24K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 71% of MacroFactor's written reviews are positive against 100% of PHYZIK's.

MacroFactor ships an update every 8 days, PHYZIK weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
